My classroom is made-up of eager 1st grade learners beginning to read. They are at many different stages of reading from emergent to beginner. They are noticing environmental print and blending sounds into words. They love to be read to and often attempt to read to themselves. I have a limited number of low level books in my classroom so some of my children have to wait for a book to be returned to have a book on their reading level. With a set of Bob Books my students would be able to read books on their level more.
