We are requesting four Chromebook laptops that will advance them to the next level. Every student is at a different stage. The internet and these Chromebooks will open up a world of opportunities for my students. Some will benefit from programs that help them review concepts they are struggling with. For others, it will give them the challenge they need to think outside the box. For all, it will help them access the past (history), present (news), and future (what can they do with a computer for projects now AND in their future careers?). My students will use these computers to do research and for word processing; for programs such as myOn, i-Ready and First in Math; to create PowerPoints and other visual presentations; to participate in blogs and academic dialogue with people across time and space. The possibilities are endless!
