These sturdy headphones with microphones will allow my students to access course curriculum like they never have before. My students have their own google chrome books that they are able to use daily in class. The sturdiness is key as it allows for normal wear and tear by seventh graders without needing constant replacement. These materials will make a difference with how they are presented with curriculum, as well as how they can show their teachers and their classmates their understanding of coursework. Having headphones with microphones will allow me to differentiate curriculum, and allow students to access videos, text to speech, and many other resources at their own pace and level. It also allows me to differentiate for our low reading level students and English language learners so they can access materials at their level. The microphone capability will allow students to voice record, communicate with peers and me, as well as do voice to text recognition. It makes for endless possibilities in class.
