At my school, we are promoting Social Emotional Learning and Growth Mindset. Among all the strategies all teachers carry out along the year, we need to provide our students with a Calming Space in the classroom where our students can freely go if they are having a bad day or they feel overwhelmed. What they find in this space is a cozy place to feel safe, express and manage their emotions and relax in order to keep doing their best in their learning. By using breathing techniques and fidget toys during a certain amount of time they recover and refocus and get ready to learn and give the best of themselves every single day.

About my class
