BIG things can happen in SMALL groups, and that is exactly what I want to foster. The furniture and organizers will promote individual reading and writing as well as the accomplishment of small group projects for all subjects. This station will be set up in an open space to prioritize comfortability; the rug and floor seats provide a comfortable space where students can lay or sit while fulfilling their tasks. The supply centers will organize various supplies to make learning as efficient as possible. All of these together create a welcoming space that enables creativity and growth. Although this is a small area of the classroom, this space will quickly become an essential tool for my SMALL group instruction where students spend their time learning BIG!
