This Pickleball equipment will enable my students to engage in required physical education activities that will meet the standards AND be fun. Pickleball is a fast growing lifetime sport that is known to be addictive. Pickleball is an activity that can be played with the proper equipment on just about any flat surface and an be played with people of all ages and athletic ability. With so many young people spending their free time behind a computer or on an electronic device, I hope to bring a love for an active new pastime with this “lifetime” sport. Students will learn to play singles and doubles and have opportunities for tournament play. Pickleball is a great activity to develop hand-eye coordination, build comeraderie through team play, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
