This will help our students build their fine motor skills and their interest in Science. In science, students can learn about animals and using a microscope, students can be engaged in what an object/organism looks like up close. Sometimes parents don’t have the extra money to get their child crayons or markers and I would like our class to always have crayons and writing materials. With the sensory materials it can be used to get students interested in ABC’s, shapes, numbers, etc. It’s another way of getting the students engaged in learning. My students are hands on learners and the best way to learn is using Play-doh, unfortunately we ran out of the few supplies we had. With Play-doh students can practice making shapes or letters.
