Flexible seats, like these wobble chairs, would allow my students to choose their comfort preference which will in turn boost engagement. They are in control of where and how they learn. Our classroom is full of music, games, dancing, and learning. Many of my students choose to stand, sit on their legs, or rock back and forth rather than sit on hard chairs that can be unstable. These seats would be another option for my active students. It also helps that they are fun to sit in and are “cool”. These seats would definitely be the highlight for some of my 4th graders and something to look forward to.
