Having headphones available for students will allow them to use their personal devices and classroom devices to enjoy reading with our digital library. They will be able to enjoy reading and find the love again without all outside noise. Currently my students get on the digital library daily during silent sustained reading but very few have headphones and it gets quite noisey where they are not able to focus on the book they are listening to or reading. In a world of high stakes teating so many upper grade students are losing the love or interest of reading and it is so awesome to see these kids so excited!
