This rug will help with positioning my students, especially K-2, in the classroom. It's bright colors allow for the room to become more vibrant while giving a more comfortable seating area. Also, students will become more actively engaged in activities by using the music rug. Movement will be a form of engagement that will be utilized while using the staff on the rug. Students will be able to place themselves on a particular line or space of the staff to assist with note recognition. The music symbols are a great plus because it will help the students identify and read music appropriately.
