I have discovered in my first year of teaching that most students perform better in the classroom when they are able to move while learning. It is difficult for students, as well as most adults to sit in a stationary chair and focus all day. It sometimes helps to take breaks to move, stretch, or stand, but can also cause chaos within the classroom. Wobble Stools would allow the students to learn and move without becoming a distraction to the other students around them. Wobble Stools will allow my students the opportunity to sit and wobble while instruction is being given in small groups. They can also be used for students who may find it difficult to focus during their independent work time. Wobble Stools will give my students a chance to experience learning in an active way.
