My first grade students have endless amounts of energy. We love to dance, play, and move to engage actively in our learning. Other times, my students are seated at their tables working independently. During table work, the chairs the students sit on are often uncomfortable and a distraction to learning. My students would benefit from comfortable seating options that allow them to get the wiggles out so they can focus on their learning. By incorporating seating options in my classroom, students will be able to choose which seating option they feel most comfortable in so they can focus all their attention on their learning.
