I am a teacher for twenty fun loving 1st graders. My students deserve the best education possible. I want my students to be success now and in their future life. I want my students reading. The more my students practice reading independently the better they will be prepared for 2nd grade. This ultimately will allow me to help close the achievement gap and allow my 1st graders to succeed in many different areas of education. At the end of 1st grade, I want to have all of my students reading on a 1st-grade level or above. Giving my students access to resources will help me achieve my goal.
