The Jonti-Craft Single Tray 25-Cubbie Storage with Colored Trays, 35 1/2"H x 48"W x 15"D from Staples will make a world of difference for my five students. My students are learning the skills to become independent in their everyday life, as well as in the classroom. INDEPENDENCE IS KEY! My students are working on independent activity schedules in our classroom (using principles of ABA and TEEACH). Currently in our classroom, we have task bins (buckets with covers) that hold different activities and tasks. They are on a shelving unit crowded and stacked on top of each other. This makes it harder for my students to access the materials they need to complete their activity schedules, hindering their ability to gain as much independence as possible. This shelving unit will help my students better find the materials they need for their activity schedule and a more defined area to put the materials back on the shelf. This WILL allow them to become more focused on completing all the task, increasing their independence.
