All of our ELA units of study relate to social studies and history. Each unit focuses on the rights of individuals. "The U.S. Constitution and You" will be used all year so students will be able to identify and relate their rights to their school community and the world. Our 5th graders are preparing for middle school. The folders will help the students develop organization skills since we are departmentalized. For the first time, they must keep track and organize their work for two separate classes. Please support our learning about Human Rights!
