The computer lab desperately needs headphones (where I teach) at a k-8 school in the inner city. The school put a computer lab together but we lack headphones. All 300 students come to computer lab and they love it! The kids need headphones for literacy activities, coding, Math games testing, typing games, ESL activities, and more. The K-2 students practice computer skills with activities in Math and Literacy. It benefits them two-fold. My 3-5 graders also work on their Math and literacy skills with games they love so much they don't realize they are learning. They are also learning online safety, how to research, how to type and how to use Microsoft Office. My 6-8 students are all coding! They are also learning Microsoft Office, research skills, good digital citizenship and project collaboration This is critical to digital literacy It will benefit the entire school!
