My students are in fear of expressing themselves artistically. Supplies need to be available for students who are more kinesthetic. Students feel much more comfortable when they are presented with a project when they have a variety of avenues in order to express their ideas. I teach a great deal of ELL students and they are apprehensive when it comes to projects because they do not always have the supplies at home. Many do not create their assignment due to lack of supplies and access to materials. Help me give my students model magic which is an easy-to-use modeling clay that limits frustration and allows students to create their best work. The Diversity Puzzle will help children gain pride in themselves—and increase understanding of others—as they lwork with a diverse collection of materials. Assisting my ELL and students who do not have access to supplies will provide my students with an opportunity to be successful, artistic, and express themselves.
