We do a lot of research and inquiry in our classroom. In order for this to happen, we need resources. Our unit deals with health and safety within the classroom and how we can become productive citizens. We currently don't have much in our classroom library to teach about the government and how we can become productive and positive citizens. Having books like, "Did you Fill a Bucket Today" will help students see that we need more kindness in the world, especially in the classroom. I want my students to be kind and show empathy to the world and to themselves. Having these books and taking action will definitely help my students.
