These headphones will greatly improve accessibility to lesson objectives for all of our students, based on their individual needs. In writing, we would be able to utilize speech to text on the Chromebooks, with the microphone jacks in the headphones, and maximize the effectiveness of our online reading and phonics programs! We currently only have 3 pairs of working headphones (without microphone jacks), which limits the use of our Chromebooks in the classroom. By gaining these headphones in our classroom, we will be able to utilize our Chromebooks and engage with content through deeper-level activities to research, write, and use creative forms of media.
