I wish I could share the work my students produce when given opportunities for purposeful learning. A project based curriculum does just that--provides opportunities for students to ask big questions, explore possible answers through engineering, building, discussion, etc. and collaborate with one another to communicate what they have learned. Fifth grade is the best!
