This school year I started planning monthly pep rallies to boost student and teacher morale. They are designed to encourage excitement around academic and social emotional learning. During these assemblies, we celebrate accomplishments, build community, and boost morale. In nice weather we go outside, where it is hard for students to hear the people speaking. By having a microphone and large speaker, students will be more involved and focused. When inside, we utilize our gymnasium. A speaker and microphone will help with the acoustics of the gym and allow all students to experience the fun. Our pep rallies bring us together as a community to foster a love of learning and enhance our school climate.
