My students are learning about the Engineering and Design Process and are tasked with creating prototypes of various objects. Many times while designing we are limited in what we can build based off of the materials that we have and the time in class. Having the Flash Forge 3D Printer to supplement our build materials will help the students advance in their production of these prototypes, by being able to build while away from class. The Flash Forge 3D Printer will also give our students a more genuine experience of how Engineers are able to move through the design and build process. They will be able to design the prototype (using CAD Software), and then see what the model looks like made out of a variety of different materials.

About my class
