Many of my students only have access to the books that are provided within my classroom and the need to keep current books that can offer discussion and creativity among the students is a necessity. Headphones are needed for individual students to hear the text being read to them at their various reading levels. My students need books in their hands to visually see the text and develop a love and understanding for reading. They currently read at various reading levels, most below grade level and would greatly enjoy being able to read and discuss a book at grade level together. Opening the opportunity to explore and discuss text; learning to value each others perspective while creating text evidence projects will help them to achieve at a higher level.
