Having a class set of headphones would enable my students, regardless of their economic status, to access important audio learning opportunities. We currently use a program titled, i-Ready. My students have access to this program daily and it is developed to interact with students at their current reading and math level. In order for the program to be successful, students listen to a tutorial and complete activities at their level. As they complete the lessons successfully, they progress through the program. The goal is to close learning gaps for our students and provide advanced learning opportunities for others. In addition, the headphones would also allow my students to access other audio learning programs and inable them to do additional audio research without disturbing others. Unfortunately, some of my students are not able to afford headphones. Having headphones available for them to use would lessen any burden they may be feeling. Thank you for believing in my students and your willingness to help them achieve.
