My students come to me with a variety of struggles whether it be academically, socially or emotionally. As much as we try to help our students regulate their emotions, it is a hard process for them to understand, especially when they are living in the peak of their anxiety. This can lead to a lot of fits, yelling, throwing things, or saying something that they later wish they could take back. All of our students are wonderful children that have great potential to be successful not only in their schooling, but also in their everyday life. With the right tools and techniques, this can be possible for all the learners in our building that struggle with anxiety.

About my class
