These materials will be used to help reinforce the skills students are taught in class. They will be used in small groups and centers after blending, segmenting, and isolating letter sounds skills have been taught to students. Students will use the magnetic letters to build CVC words and words with long vowels, digraphs, and blends. The sentence strips will be used to practice reading and comprehension. The Hot Dots will be a fun way for students to practice skills that will let them self correct themselves. Everyone loves technology and using the Hot Dots will have students thinking they are playing while practicing skills.
