My students are a very active group of first grade boys. Their bodies are always in motion. This makes it difficult for them to learn in a traditional classroom setting. They are not able to sit at a desk for long periods of time without getting into trouble. The Wobble Chair swivels. This would allow the students to sit at a desk or table and still be able to move a little. They can rock back and forth or move side to side. That little bit of motion can help them stay on task and keep their focus on the assignment in front of them. The other seating choices are also good at allowing movement while in a "proper" seated position.
