When students feel uncomfortable in a space, it makes it difficult for them to do their best. I believe it is very important to create an engaging learning environment by giving students the option to sit in a space that fits their specific needs. This year I plan to offer more flexible seating arrangements and alternative lighting to maximize learning. Florescent lighting often makes it difficult for children to focus and causes headaches. Comfy floor seats provide students the option to get out of the hard, cold chairs. Your donation will ensure that my students can engage in active learning!
