The technology resources in our school are very limited. Some of the computers I currently use were salvaged from a discard pile. Without adequate access to technology in the classroom, the students will be at a disadvantage compared to their peers with adequate technology resources. My rural classroom needs updated technology so students do not lose quality learning time or get frustrated with slow computers with glitches. New Chromebooks will allow my kindergartners to log into their accounts with the keyboard and not toggle between letters and numbers on a touchpad. The updated technology will load faster, giving students more quality learning time.
