I am currently teaching in a 4th grade classroom in Illinois. As with any classroom, there is a wide range of abilities among my students. My goal as an educator and mentor is to make sure all of my students are reaching their maximum potential. In order to achieve this goal I try to plan lessons that explore all the modes of learning, and are also differentiated so that each child has the best chance at being successful. My goal is to set up flexible groups that are differentiated so that students are exploring and learning with others at their same level. My students love working in groups as well as working with technology, therefore I would like the opportunity to provide them with both of these experiences.
