Work experience is a huge part of transition into life after high school. The shredders, trash grabbers, and cleaning supplies will be required for work tasks and will help students gain the experience during daily work. Because of the current worldwide pandemic, these students will not have an opportunity to work off campus at a local business of their choice; instead they will be working on campus among their peers. This project will support them in gaining work skills and also help them understand expectations of a work environment, such as wearing a specified uniform, which will be done by use of a vest. They will use the cleaning supplies, trash grabbers, and shredders to complete office tasks and janitorial tasks on campus. An extra benefit is that they will be helping their school community simultaneously!
