My students love to take exciting adventures and journeys through reading. They love to see what is going to happen in our story each day and they love to predict their thoughts. They are so creative and adventurous! These materials would enable me to give my students the chance to read the adventures through a completely different perspective. The units that we use would work wonderfully with these novel studies and enable me to take their learning beyond the book. For example, we can associate Alice in Wonderland with things that happen in real life such as emotions. We do not always have a complete set of books so sometimes we have to partner up to share, or even read as a whole group, so these materials would enable each student to have their own copy to read individually.
