My students have moderate intellectual delay. They attend a public school in an economically challenged community in the state of Georgia. They are eager and excited to begin working in their newly established kitchen comprised of a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and sink. They also have a washer and dryer to learn laundry skills. We will begin our baking projects which will help raise funds to replenish food stuffs as well as help pay for upcoming field trips.
