The middle schoolers in Introduction to Coding have worked hard throughout the semester to learn and hone their coding abilities! They are ready to apply what they've learned to actually create something that moves, glows and celebrates their skills! The Arduino boards will help our students create circuits to power their lights on and off, and they will use coding software to tell the circuits how to operate so that the lights will "perform" in time to music. This STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Mathematics) project highlights students' skills and will allow them to create a fun, interactive mini-light show, which will be included in our school's spring arts showcase! Your support will allow us to help our students better understand how coding, engineering and creativity meet in the real world.
