Many of my students have a variety of learning disabilities that make it really difficult for them to read. I teach students from grades 1 through 8th grade and all of them are reading below their grade level. I have difficulty finding books that meet their reading needs that also piques their interest. This is especially true for my middle school students, since many books that are targeted towards them are at a reading level they cannot access. These books will meet ALL of my students needs, from being accessible to capturing their interest. The books in this cart have books written at premier level for my students reading below first grade. It also contains graphic novels, such as Rick Riordan's best selling series, Percy Jackson, so that my middle school students will be able to read books that interests them, but are also written at a level they can access. All these books will allow them to be successful readers and make them more confident as readers.
