This will give the students a leg up and much more confidence, and I am so excited about the opportunity for them to feel connected to the outer world. I plan to take the students to see the Ballet Folklorico at Chabot Jr. College; prior to our trip they will trace the history and create collages based upon their findings using the HP tablets I chose. And the HP laptops will allow for the aides to assist and connect to the tablets. STEM here we come!! We will also be taking a trip to our Makers Lab and learning about ways to create objects and using unusual pieces and parts of everyday objects! It is important for girls to be exposed to Science and Technology, especially our underprivileged. The tablets and laptop will allow them to look up different activities to create.
