Many students in the middle school setting learn well while moving. A wobble chair is designed to allow students to move while sitting. Wobble chairs are designed with no back so the sitter must use lower back muscles and core muscles. The goal is to sit up straight and move often while working. I plan to use these chairs at a work table where I pull students who need the most attention and help into a small group setting for extra help! Having wobble chairs in my classroom will help students who have difficulty with fidgeting and staying in their seat.
