The power of learning is in reading. I want my students to feel empowered and capable in their education by reading. Second language acquisition comes through the heavy emphasis of repeated and compelling input in the target language. I want to incorporate a free voluntary reading program into my Spanish classroom. In order to do so I need the supplies to properly display books to make them look inviting as well as materials such a color pencils to do extension and illustration activities. Students will be able to track their reading progress using portfolios. Help us become ready to read!
