As a 3rd grade teacher, I know that flexible seating is crucial to my students learning. In our classroom, we try to sit in different places around the room to ensure we are moving throughout the day. If we had this classroom rug, we would be able to sit in front of our smart board all together as a class. We would be able to enjoy our morning meetings and smart board lessons in comfort and not have to worry about who's in our spot. A nice large rug with sit spots for each student would help to make our learning on the carpet much more effective. As of right now, our classroom carpet is 12 years old. It is ripping up and some of it has black electrical tape holding it together. I would absolutely love a nice, comfortable place for my students to learn and work during the school day. I would also be able to use it for years to come. This would be the best investment for our classroom.
