These four comfy seats will help my students to keep their focus during independent reading time. Not only that, but they will help them gain ownership of their learning. By giving them choices I am telling my students that I care about them and trust them to be independent learners. At this age, kids have the need to move. It is not ideal for me to expect them to be seated in the same spot during the whole school day. These comfy seats will also be beneficial for students to have shared reading time and learn from each other.

About my class
