I have a class set of Chromebooks, however I do not have working headphones. Several of my students do not read on grade level and need things read to them or need to hear instructions for online programs. I use chromebooks frequently for reading and math stations as well as taking test (to get ready for online state testing next year) and it is very distracting when we hear the noises of everybody’s chrome books. Second graders need the least amount of distractions as possible. It is very distraction when everybody’s chrome book is reading aloud to them. I can barely think when it is going on, so I know it’s distracting to the students!
