I teach Kindergarten through 5th grade special education students. Teaching these students is extremely challenging and infinitely inspirational! My job is challenging because I am constantly searching for ways to reach students who have not been given all the tools that most of us have been given or learn in a different way than most. My job is also inspirational because I have the privilege of watching my students learn despite great challenges. Given the right opportunities, they have amazing potential!
