When a flexible environment is combined with purposeful planning, students can achieve great things. I want to provide my early learners with an environment that they can make their own. Giving them the flexibility to manipulate their learning environment will make their learning experiences more personal and meaningful. These tables will provide a whole new level of student engagement. I imagine my early learners writing their first sight word sentence, learning to write their names, or creating a STEM project. I can see them moving a table to a work station because they feel the need to stand rather than sit. These movable tables will provide them with the freedom to meet their learning, physical, and emotional needs.
