Our classroom can be a noisy place on any day with the exchanging of ideas between teachers and students. The use of Chromebooks is almost a daily activity in our classroom, so headphones help keep the noise level at a minimum while keeping learning at a maximum! The use of headphones can help our students stay focused on their learning tasks and enhance the reading process for our students who are reading below grade level. By donating to our project, you can help increase student focus and engagement and ultimately help increase academic achievement. Unfortunately, not everyone understands lessons the same way. Some students learn better by having instructions repeated to them throughout the day. Others learn through interaction and finding ways to apply the facts to things they already understand. When everyone in the classroom is using headphones, they are able to select the learning option that suits them best. Also, many of our students are struggling readers and have little opportunity to read books at home, therefore we often use audio readers for students to listen to. Headphones would be such a helpful resource to our students and hopefully encourage them to continue the path to a successful education!
