Every child I have ever known enjoyed learning when it seemed like a game. I just makes sense to use tablet-based center activities and games to help students learn. They can practice math facts, telling time, counting money, using proper grammar and capitalization, reading, writing, doing research, and the list goes on and on. I have already found many different sites online; but, because we are a K-8 school, my students only get to use our school computer lab for about 30 minutes twice a week. Our world revolves around technology but many of my students rarely get to enjoy it because they are from low-income families who just don't have the resources. I can't wait to see the excitement on their little faces when I am able to share this with them! I know it will be a great tool to motivate the students in my classroom.
