Our 8th grade students have decided to construct a basic landscaping project near the main school entryway. Currently there are only a few shrubs growing around the building and no beds whatsoever. The students will map, dig, select, plant and mulch the proposed beds. They will be working on this project under the supervision of 8th grade teachers and have the assistance of the agriculture students from our local high school. We are requesting an assortment of gardening tools such as rakes, shovels, cultivators, and picks for working the soil. Since this project involves nearly 153 students, we will break into classes for working times. If fully funded, this project will provide us with 27 gardening tools to be used by all students.
