My students struggle with reading and these items with strengthen their reading and help them to enjoy reading. My students like to learn through games and hands on materials. My students will once again find the love in learning again. They will enjoy using the magazines to learn about what is going on in their world and become more of an active participant in their surroundings. The students will improve their comprehension and reading skills by reading these magazines and answering questions about what they have read and what it means to them. The math manipulatives will help them to better understand money and how to properly give back change.
