Students will use Magna-Tiles, building sets and engineering games in order to explore their creativity and foster their love for building. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) are important avenues to encourage creative thinking and problem solving. Each day my students are given time to build and design and every day they make something extraordinary. My students already make simple things like toothpicks and Play Doh come to life with their imagination. Not only does this activity allow for creative output, students often write about what they have made, which encourages the writing process. I cannot wait to see what they discover and explore with these amazing materials.
