STEM Bins are developmentally and age appropriate for first grade. These bins are a creative way for students to learn. The items that I have selected encourage students to think outside the box. I will be able to use these STEM bins to teach academic standards with tangible materials. STEM Bins are great for students to use their critical thinking and problems solving skills which are necessary skills for academic growth. Due to COVID regulations students are stuck in a classroom most of the day. This can cause behavior problems and effects overall learning in the classroom. Providing students with STEM Bins will allow them to learn while giving them the brain breaks they need.
