My second graders are eager to learn! But many of them come from low income homes where a set of headphones or earbuds for school would be pretty low on the "needs" list. They need headphones to be able to fully utilize programs our 1:1 school has purchased for learning and collecting data, such as iStation. Many of my students don't have headphones at all, or their parents bought the really inexpensive earbuds from Dollar General. They were trying to do what they could, but sadly these headphones/earbuds don't last too long. These students try to use their iPads but ask to be seated away from their classmates so as not to disturb them since they have to turn their iPads down low and can't have the programs silenced through headphones! Thank you for your consideration of this project. Your help is greatly appreciated
